What Causes Gynecomastia?

The procedure usually takes between one and two hours to complete.
What Can I Expect During My Recovery?
Immediately after your surgery, your chest will be wrapped in bandages and a compression garment, which helps reduce swelling and encourages healing. There may be some discomfort once the anesthesia wears off. Over-the-counter or prescription medications can help keep you comfortable.
Most patients are able to return to work in about one week. You should avoid strenuous activities for the first two or three weeks. You may also experience some swelling or bruising in the treatment site. These side effects are normal and should dissipate over two or three weeks.
