What Is Microblading?

Microblading typically takes one to two hours, depending on how full the brows need to be.
Why Would I Need Microblading?
Many patients choose to microblade their brows because they feel as though their eyebrows are too thin. This can be caused by the natural aging process, by the brows being plucked too much, or just by having little-to-no eyebrows in general. This technique is perfect for men and women who want to fully reconstruct, define, cover gaps, or fill-in their brows. Microblading can really change the look of a person’s face and provide a natural and realistic facial aesthetic with full brows.
How Long Does It Last?
Although this is an incredible option for effortless brows, touch-up treatments are needed. Microblading typically lasts anywhere from one to three years, depending on the age of the patient and the skin type. After your initial treatment, a touch-up session four to six weeks after is required to allow you to obtain your desired results. During this period of time, the brows can be adjusted, whether more color is needed or additional thickness is desired. This is when we can really fine-tune the brows to make them perfect for you. Because the ink is not inserted as deep as a normal tattoo, the brows will fade over time, and it is recommended that patients receive touch-up treatments every 18 months or so to freshen up the appearance.
