Tumescent fluid, which is composed of saline and a local anesthetic, is injected into the fatty tissue to make it easier to remove.
Once the fat has been removed, it is put through a filtration process and spun in a centrifuge to remove impurities and refine the fat, making the cells more likely to survive the transfer process. The refined fat is placed into syringes and then strategically injected into the buttocks.
What Can I Expect After My Procedure?
After your procedure, the area where the liposuction was performed will be sore, swollen, and bruised. You will be asked to wear a compression garment to help minimize swelling and encourage proper healing.
