The Breast Lift Procedure
A breast lift is an outpatient surgery that is performed at our own surgical facility. All anesthesia is administered and monitored by an experienced anesthesiologist for complete patient comfort and safety. Most breast lifts take between one and three hours, but the time frame varies from patient-to-patient. All of the details of this procedure will be decided during the initial consultation after several measurements are taken of the bust.
Incision Location
Depending on the severity of your condition and the desired extent of correction, you may choose between the following incision locations for your breast lift:
Donut incision: Two concentric incisions are made around each areola, through which a donut-shaped piece of tissue is removed. The areolas may be reduced using this approach. The donut method is ideal for patients with a small amount of skin laxity.
Lollipop incision: An incision is placed around each areola and continues down to the crease of the breast. The nipple-areolar complex can be repositioned and reduced using this method. The lollipop technique is designed for patients with moderate breast laxity.
Anchor or Wise-pattern incision: Like with the lollipop method, an incision is made around the areola and down the breast. A second incision is created along the inframammary fold. Those who desire smaller or properly positioned nipples can benefit from this approach. The anchor technique is best for patients with significant breast laxity and excess tissue.
Breast List and Augmentation
