Dr. D’Souza uses a super-wet technique which is one of the safest liposuction techniques used in the industry. After reviewing all the incision placement with you before the procedure. When you go into the operating room, an anesthesiologist will administer anesthesia before the procedure. At this time Dr. Dsouza will go to work and will meticulously sculpt your body. Overall the procedure can take anywhere from 1-2 hours.
What can you expect after the procedure?
Liposuction is a minor procedure and requires minor recovery time. We will discuss exercise and lifting restrictions at your pre-operative visit. Walking is highly encouraged after the procedure to keep blood circulating for a safe recovery. Most people require approximately 2 days of recovery time before returning to their normal activities.
How long will the results last?
You will see some results immediately. However, the final results of the Liposuction procedure may take a few months to fully develop as swelling needs time to subside. Some visible scars may remain, but the overall results will be long lasting provided that general fitness and nutritional care are maintained.
